Corporate/Private Shows

Poison Ivy Mysteries, L.L.C. is a Murder Mystery Theatre Company that produces high quality, affordable entertainment for Corporate and Private Parties. We believe in Providing memorable, professional entertainment that will leave your employees or clientele satisfied and entertained.

How it works

You provide the venue, dinner and prizes and we take care of the rest. The evening proceeds as follows:

Your guests arrive and are greeted by our actors.  Our actors  “mingle” with your guests during appetizers/drinks or during a specific amount of time (usually 15 to 20 minutes) before the show  “starts.” Then, the actors present scenes and musical numbers throughout the room to engage the guests. 

We have a couple of audience participation parts and are more than happy to write in bits that are specific to people or events/products unique to your company.

Dinner is served during this time and the actors eat with the guests. 

After dinner, the play continues in which one of the actors is “murdered.”

The guests are then given clues and encouraged to get up out of their seats and question the actors to determine who did it, how it was done and why. 

After this period of questioning, the guests will turn in their answers and the play concludes. 

After the murderer has been revealed, prizes are rewarded to 3 of the correct answers (through a drawing from the correct solutions). 

The prizes are provided by your company and can be anything you desire.

The whole thing takes about 2 hours without dinner and about 2 hours 40 minutes with dinner (depending on the dinner situation.)
